Shaman Stones - Moqui Marbles

Shaman Stones, aka Moqui Marbles, Martian Blueberries, aka, Boji Balls™, may have many names, but they are all the same stone. These stones are comprised of calcite (sandstone) and iron oxide. If you sliced one open, they would look like a malted milk ball. They were created underground by deposited iron minerals in sandstone from flowing groundwater. SCIENCE!!!!

Mother nature is truly amazing and what's more, they have found these stones on Mars as well. Nasa scientists actually studied the stones found in Utah and Mongolia to determine how they were formed to see that they could reason out more about the stones found on Mars. The ones found on the red planet are much smaller, about pea-sized, and are solid hematite. The scientists believe that they may have once had a calcite center, but over time it dissipated. The presence of these stones is one of the things that point to the fact that there was once water on Mars (hence the term Martian Blueberries).

OK kids, so these stones do actually identify as male and female. the females are smooth and round and the males are lumpy and sometimes spikey. For now, what I write next is hearsay because I don't have them in my hands to try this, but I will within the first 5 minutes of them being on my doorstep, rest assured. It is said that they can be sexed by a pendulum. If the pendulum swings in a circular motion, it is a female, in a straight line, it is a male. Will there be nonbinary? We will see... There are ancient Hopi Indians rolling in their graves right now.

Hopi Lore

The word "moqui" in Hopi means "dear departed one." According to their traditions the spirits of the dead play with the marbles at night and leave them for the living to reassure them of their happiness in the afterlife. They are left and o not gathered up so the spirits can return each night to play with them. However, just sitting quietly with them in your hand gives a sense of peace and well-being.

Magical properties

These stones are some of the most powerful and energizing stones on earth (and on Mars apparently). They come from within the earth and therefore are deeply grounding and yet have a connection to the stars and can be used for astral travel and meditation. Each stone has its own energy, smaller stones have faster-vibrating energy while larger stones vibrate more slowly and deeply. They are useful in connecting to your animal guides, used to stimulate chi and to enhance psychic abilities as well.

These stones do not require any special cleansing or recharging as other crystals as they themselves cleanse negative energy and recharge energy.
