CANDLE MAGIC AND MINI SPELL KITS

Candles are fun and fascinating. We love them because they bring a bit of warmth into our home on cool days, douse the air with delicious aromas,

and give everything an intimate romantic glow in the evening. The fact is that can be so much more than that as well.

There is an energy that candles give off when they burn, I've had this debate before, if they give ambiance, set a mood etc., then they must have a sort of energy. It was a short debate. Basically candle magic uses that energy to send a specific energy into the universe to help us attain our goals. As with most magic, you can be a simple or as elaborate as you wish. Intent is the main ingredient. Your spell can be as simple as carving into your candle a wish and burn it until your wish is released to the universe. You can add to that the color that goes along with your wish to bring a little more energy to your spell, add an essential oil for the same purpose to run on the candle, perhaps roll it in an herb that has similar properties and then burn it next to a crystal that gives off similar properties as well. You could add in a little meditation, perhaps take a charm meant for such a purpose and charge it with those energies and then wear it on your person when your spell is done, maybe even carry that crystal with it. Wait! all of those things are in our mini spell kit! It even has salt to create a protected circle around your spell to keep out negative energy.

The mini spell candle are something I've used personally for many many years. I would say that I use them for meditation, but I rarely just meditate without focus, so if I'm meditating, I'm usually working on something in my life. That is unless I'm having a really bad day. Maybe others will nay say what I tell you, but my rule is NEVER do magic when you're in a negative mood. It just invites all sorts of mischief and nobody got time for that.

Use some time to actually meditate, take a hot shower, with a salt rinse, light some incense, do a cleansing, do some protection magic, but just go out there trying to work on a love spell with a broken heart, a money spell when all you can think about is how broke you are, The negativity will bite you in the butt and nothing will come of your work.

Maybe it's information you don't need to have, but when I'm feeling like crap, I will light my candles, light my incense, sit surrounded by my crystals and have a heart to heart with the powers that be. I make sure to take some time to say thank you for the good things that are in my life, because no matter how bad things are, there is some good. Then I vent and ask for wisdom and guidance. It feels a little better to take the burden off my shoulders for a bit and put those problems into the hands of spirits who can help. I do a hot shower with a salt rinse and go to bed. The next morning I start looking for the little things that might be guiding me in the right direction to fix what has gone wrong. Once I feel better about life, I'll start working more meaningful magic, but not at a low point. Oh and I'll just throe this out there as well. I am not perfect and I do not wish bad things on anyone, EVER. I have seen the fallout from that and I don't want it in my life. However, I am not above wishing those people I cannot stand to have around me VERY GOOD things in FAR AWAY place

Back to candle spells and meditations. So, yes, the spell candles are pretty perfect for the 2-3 hour burn or one evening spell that you might want to cast. Soon we will have small pillar candles that will be better for a couple of days or for when you know that this will be a longer working spell, perhaps something you want to work on throughout a lunar cycle for a little time each night. Give me a couple of weeks and I will have them for you.

Directions for the mini spell kits.

If you are new to spells, everything inside can be confusing and overwhelming. Here is how I would use the mini spell kits, though I see them as open ended and you canuse them as you best see fit.

Included are

Altar cloth, spell candle, salt herbs, essential oil, crystal, charm, seeded paper

To use:

1. lay out the altar cloth on a flat surface

2. seUse the salt to create a circle. it can be used directly on the altar cloth or you can put it on the ground surrounding yourself and your altar workspace.

3. hold your spell candle in your hand and use some of your salt to sprinkle over the candle or you can roll it in the candle. It's not meant to stick to it, just to cleanse it.

4. You can engrave your candle using a ball point pen if you wish with what you hope to accomplish, visualize your spell coming true as you do so. You a=can also just do the visualization and send that energy into the candle.

5. Use the essential oil by putting a little in your hands and rubbing it onto the candle continuing your visualization, then roll it in the herbs. Set the candle into the holder (not included)

6. Repeat number 5 witht he crystal and the charm continuing your visualization.

7. Place the charm, crystal and seeded paper near your candle holder and light the candle. You can use the spell included or use your own words to as specifically for what you desire. Sit for a while and visualize your desire coming true and becoming clearer and closer to you as the candle burns.

8. When the candle has burned to completion, plant the seeded paper to continue to grow your spell.. You can also carry/ wear the charm and crystal to keep that energy with you as you go about your days. When you have a moment, hold the crystal and do your visualization again.
